Monochrome

Hey you guys 🙂 ! Hope you dolls have been great! Yes I have been MIA lately :/ , but that’s only because apart from being a blogger, I also work full time. So I need some “ME” time every now and then to just rejuvenate and energize myself. But I do have many more looks coming this month and also new beauty reviews so stay tuned for that Dolls!!!

I went to a concert recently and opted for a glam yet casual look! It has been terribly hot and humid lately so this outfit was simply perfect for an outdoor concert. I love wearing heels with most of my looks and I did the same here as well. Some people don’t really like wearing heels to concerts but I’m such a Glam Girl and couldn’t help myself :). I also tied an olive shirt on my waist which gave the look a bit more casual appeal. Hope you guys enjoy the look! xoxo ❤

Print Galore By Global Desi & Fab India Product Review

IMG_7144

With everyone (including ME 🙂 ) being so into monochromatic styles and solid colors lately, I figured why not change up the routine a bit and apt for a bright, cutesy tunic dress that screams summer!  I picked up this beauty at Global Desi while I was in Mumbai.  Just in case, if you guys are not familiar with Global Desi, it is an Indo-Western brand by designer Anita Dongre. This store is a one stop shop if you looking for affordable and super girly clothing influenced by Indian Designing.

I paired this tunic up with my tan sandals (that I have been so so obsessed with lately) and a bag from Asos.  As you guys already know I am not a huge fan of cluttered outfits but rather prefer clean looks, so I kept it minimal.  Also, I did not wear any accessories with this tunic.  With my look being so minimal, the entire focus stays on this gorgeous tunic and that is precisely what I was aiming for with this look.

As promised, I have doubled up this post with a beauty review of some Indian products that have been my go-to lately.  As I have mentioned before, I have moderate to severe acne and I am always looking for a better routine to try so that I can get rid of my acne entirely.  I came across the FAB INDIA Neem – Tulsi  skin care line recently and decided to give it a try since Neem is really beneficial for acne prone skin.
Just in case if you guys are not familiar with these herbs; Tulsi is another name for Holy Basil which has been used as a herbal remedy for many ailments like fever, headaches, common cold, skin irritations especially acne, and Neem has also been used as a herbal remedy for skin irritation and disorders.

1) Neem-Tulsi Face Wash:
Consistency: Gel like but light.  Lathers up quickly.
Smell: Smells just like Neem and Tulsi.  If you do not like the smell of Neem this product is not for you 😦 !
Feel after wash: Leaves a clean, fresh feeling on the skin.  I do not need to wash my face over and over once I’ve washed it in the morning.
Acne Results: I sure have seen a difference in my acne after using this face wash.  Since it is herbal, I have noticed that it does not strip my face of natural oils and as a result my face is not over producing oils.

2) Neem-Tulsi Moisturizing Lotion:
Consistency: Very light.  Your skin drinks it up rather quickly.
Feel: Not greasy at all.
Face or Body: This is a body lotion and I did not try it on my face.

3) Neem-Tulsi Bathing Bar:
Smell: Amazing; just like Neem 🙂 So Herbal and fresh.
How long does it linger: Not more than an hour or two.
Feel on Skin: Clean without being over drying your skin.

4)Neem-Tulsi Nourishing Cream:
Consistency: Thick, cream like.
Feel:Takes a few seconds to blend in your skin but does not feel greasy.
Usage: I prefer to use it at night before bed. It is definitely too heavy for day time use.
Acne Results: Did not help much with my acne. But does moisturize your face and makes your skin more glowy.

And that is it for this post you guys, I have many more looks coming soon and also a huge announcement
so stay tuned 🙂 ❤

Hey ya’ll ! I am so so excited to share this post with you guys.  I recently wore a traditional Indian outfit to a friends wedding and I sooo fell in love with how it ended up looking that I decided to do a quick mini shoot for you dolls!

While on most days you wouldn’t catch me wearing green, pink and yellow all in one outfit; Indian outfits are mostly bright and colorful! The moment I laid my eyes on this beauty I knew I had to rock it 🙂 !!!

For those who don’t know what this is called; its a lehenga which includes a top (usually an embellished crop top), a long skirt and a dupatta (scarf).

Hope you guys enjoy this look! Xoxo ❤️
