Travel Diaries: Georgia

For my recent trip to Atlanta I made sure I packed along a bunch of stylish yet absolutely comfortable clothing and walk worthy shoes. Just like any other big city, Atlanta is all about enjoying the city on foot rather than driving around to see places. On my first night in the city, I went with a modern- classy look. I wore an all lace mock neck with leather pants. If you are familiar with my style you know I love rockin’ lace and leather because its such a pleasant and stylish combination. While the leather gives you a grunge-y look; the lace adds freshness and innocence to your outfit.

I stopped by Hsu’s Atlanta for my Chinese fix that night πŸ˜› !! This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to in a really long time. With tender chicken cooked to perfection, divine drinks and a mouthwatering dinner menu, this restaurant is a must-eat in Atlanta downtown. Also with a wide variety of wines and a impressive dessert menu, this restaurant has a little something for everybody. Ofcourse, the best part is how amazing the food tastes here! No wonder this gem of a restaurant has catered an extensive list of celebrities! If you decide to stop by at Hsu’s make sure to try their Molten Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Sauce.

Along with great food and exceptional service, I love how you end your meal with a deeeelish chocolate dipped fortune cookie πŸ˜€

There is nothing like exploring a new city on foot and enjoying their culture. That’s exactly what I did the next day! A walk through Centennial Olympic Park, visit to the Official CNN Center and the world’s largest aquarium pretty much took up the entire day! I love how Atlanta has big city vibes combined with amazing Southern Charm which gives you the best of both worlds. I went with flats, a mini skirt and my leather jacket on this day! Even though I was in Georgia, the weather got really chilly at times in April, blame Global Warming 😦 !!

My next look was ofcourse a crop top and skirt in my favorite colors: black and olive!! Olive has always been one of my favorite colors and has lately been extremely popular with neutral lovers. I finished this look with cream sandals to accentuate my legs.

Another note worthy restaurant in Atlanta downtown is Poor Calvin’s Absolute Fusion. This eatery offers a unique combination of Thai food with Southern influences. With appetizers like Pimento Crab Fries, Lobster Wontons and yum entrees such as Meat Loaf in Thai Curry and Grilled Lamb Rack, this restaurant offers a wide variety for everyone who loves Southern food as well as Thai spices.

If you ever stop by Poor Calvin’s, don’t forget to sip on their Homemade Fruit Punch made with fresh apricots, peaches, plums and strawberries. Also, their Mango- Jalapeno Vodka Infused Cocktail is a must have for Vodka Lovers.

The last outfit I’m posting today is this beautiful black midi that is a must have in every girls closet. You can always dress it up or down depending on the occasion. I paired it with some taupe lace-up heels and my fringe purse.
